Her career also includes experience as a government relations director for the Homebuilders Association of Greater New Orleans. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in 2008, a degree from Tulane University in 2013, and a graduate degree from the University of New Orleans in 2022. Mossing is affiliated with the Independent Women's Organization, the League of Women Voters, and the Mid City Neighborhood Organization.
