Alexander Bores is a New York State Assemblymember representing District 73 since January 2023. A former software engineer with degrees from Cornell University and Georgia Tech, Bores is currently running for the U.S. House of Representatives in New York's 12th Congressional District. In the State Assembly, he has focused heavily on technology policy, notably sponsoring the Responsible AI Safety and Education (RAISE) Act to regulate artificial intelligence development.
