Alexis Hill is a Democratic candidate for Governor of Nevada in the 2026 primary. A native of Sparks and former city planner, she currently serves as Chair of the Washoe County Commission, a position she has held since 2023, and as a Commissioner since 2020. Hill is known as a "Technocratic Progressive" and an "Election Protector." She is running to modernize the state's revenue with a "Fair Share Tax Package for Billionaires & Corporations," freeze residential rent increases, and offset federal SNAP cuts. Hill aims to put Nevadans first, offering real solutions for change. She is married and resides in Reno.
