Solis is a graduate of Bowie State University. Her public service includes appointments to a County Executive's technology transition team and the Special Education Advisory Committee. She has also served on several boards, including the BREM Foundation to Defeat Breast Cancer and the Latino Advisory Board for the Prince George's County Executive.
