Alisa Lee is a first-generation Vietnamese American who moved to Tacoma to attend the University of Puget Sound. She was appointed to the Board of Park Commissioners in December 2024 to fill the seat of retired Commissioner Aaron Pointer. Her professional experience includes roles in community organizing and the legal field. She currently works as an electoral program manager for an organization that supports candidates from marginalized communities. Lee has also served on the Parks Tacoma Active Lifestyles and Community Wellness Advisory Council and was a board member for Asian and Pacific Islanders for Civic Empowerment.
