Alleria Stanley is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 4. She is a retired United States Army veteran with 20 years of service. During her military career, which included a deployment to Afghanistan, she served as an Apache helicopter repairer and a radiology technologist. Stanley is one of the first transgender service members to transition while on active duty and continue serving through to her retirement. A mother of five, she is a dedicated advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and has been recognized for her work supporting LGBTQ+ service members and their families. Stanley now seeks to continue her public service as a state delegate.
