Allison Tant is an incumbent Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives for District 9, having assumed office in November 2020. Prior to her election to the state legislature, she worked as a lobbyist and served as the chair of the Florida Democratic Party from 2014 to 2016. Tant is also the founder of Independence Landing, an affordable housing community for adults with developmental disabilities. She earned her degrees from Florida State University.
