Amanda Cook is the incumbent representing North Carolina House of Representatives District 60, having assumed office on November 18, 2025. She was appointed to fill the remainder of former Representative Cecil Brockman's term. Previously, she served on the High Point City Council. Cook is a former public school teacher, having taught dance in Forsyth County schools for nine years. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro in 2008 and a graduate degree from Gardner Webb University in 2021. She is also the founder of the nonprofit Teacher's Edge.
