Dr. Amanda M. Stewart is a Democratic candidate for Charles County Commissioner President in Maryland. A lifelong public servant with over twenty years of experience in education, she holds a doctorate in Higher Education from Walden University. Stewart was first elected as the District 3 County Commissioner in 2014 and is currently serving her third consecutive term on the board. In addition to her civic duties, she is a former public school teacher and the owner of an educational consulting firm. Known for her focus on collaborative, community-centered leadership, Stewart lives in White Plains, Maryland, with her husband and son.
