Amy Brooks

Amy Brooks is a Democratic candidate seeking election to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent Legislative District 13. An educator for over two decades, she is also a parent and a committed community advocate. Brooks has demonstrated a strong history of public service through various roles, including serving as the OMMS PTSA President and as a member of the UUCC Board of Trustees. Her extensive community involvement also includes co-founding Oakland Mills Online and participating in both the Howard County Board of Appeals and the Howard County Library System Racial Equity Alliance. Her campaign platform prioritizes key issues such as improving education, expanding healthcare access, and ensuring environmental protection.
