Amy Cawvey

Amy Cawvey is a Republican candidate for the Kansas State Board of Education, District 1, dedicated to strengthening academic standards, ensuring classroom safety, and upholding transparency and accountability for Kansas families. Her platform includes limiting screen time for K-6 students, removing SEL and DEI from state standards and curriculum, increasing scrutiny on local school bond applications, ensuring parental rights, improving classroom safety, increasing state standards, and promoting fiscal responsibility. Cawvey previously served on the Lansing USD 469 School Board and currently serves as a Republican precinct committeewoman and Kansas Chairman for the National School Boards Coalition. She is on the ballot Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026.
