Amy Galey is an attorney and the incumbent State Senator for North Carolina's 25th district. She was raised in Alamance County and graduated from Western Alamance High School. She earned a B.A. in history and a law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before her election to the state senate in 2020, she served as an Alamance County Commissioner and was Chair of the Board of Commissioners from 2017 to 2020.
