Ana Maria Rodriguez is a Republican member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 40, which encompasses Monroe and parts of Miami-Dade counties. She assumed office in the Senate in 2020. Before her election to the State Senate, Rodriguez served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2018 to 2020. She also served on the Doral City Council from 2010 to 2018. Rodriguez earned a B.S. in Communications from Florida International University and an M.S. from Nova Southeastern.
