Anders Ibsen is a lifelong Tacoma resident and a graduate of the Tacoma School of the Arts and The Evergreen State College. He served for eight years on the Tacoma City Council from 2012 to 2019, including a term as Deputy Mayor. During his tenure, he focused on issues such as passing a tenant protection act, increasing the minimum wage, and establishing paid sick leave. He is currently the owner and managing broker of a real estate team at Windermere and has served as a commissioner on the Washington State Gambling Commission.
