Andre M. Lassiter Sr.

Andre Lassiter is a resident of Ahoskie, North Carolina. He is a first-generation community college graduate, having earned an associate degree in criminal justice from Roanoke-Chowan Community College (R-CCC) and a bachelor's degree from Elizabeth City State University. He is the owner of a security company, AGI Builders. Lassiter has a long history of public service, including serving as a trustee for R-CCC for 14 years, where he held leadership positions such as board chair. He also serves on numerous other boards, including the Roanoke-Chowan Community Health Center Board, the Ahoskie Housing Authority Board, and the Hertford County Partners for Progress Board. He was first elected as a Hertford County Commissioner in 2018 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board.
