Andrew Engell serves as a Washington State Representative for the 7th Legislative District, a position he assumed in January 2025. A lifelong resident of the Colville area, he brings extensive hands-on experience from welding, construction, farming, and managing affordable housing units to his legislative role. Engell is dedicated to advocating for his constituents in Olympia, having successfully supported legislation addressing rural health care access and housing flexibility, and working to restore wildfire funding. He is also known for opposing new state income taxes and state oversight of county sheriffs. He was selected for the 2025 Western Legislative Academy.
