Angelica Maria Duenas is a candidate for United States House of Representatives California District 29 in Congressional District 29, California — 2026 Primary Election. Running as Democratic Party.

Angelica Duenas was born and raised in Sun Valley in the San Fernando Valley to parents who immigrated from Mexico. She attended Los Angeles public schools, including Roscoe Elementary School, Byrd Middle School, and Polytechnic High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) in 2007 and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University in 2013. Duenas has served on the Sun Valley Neighborhood Council, including two terms as president and one as vice president. She was a delegate for Bernie Sanders at the Democratic National Conventions in 2016 and 2020. She is a mother of five children. She has previously run for this congressional seat in 2018, 2020, 2022, and 2024.
