Annalisa Perea is a Fresno City Councilmember representing District 1 and a candidate for California State Assembly District 31. An urban planner by profession, she earned a degree in City and Regional Planning from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Before her appointment and subsequent election to the city council, Perea served as a trustee and president of the State Center Community College District. She is the first openly LGBTQ+ member of the Fresno City Council.
