Anne Kiley was appointed as a Judge to the Los Angeles County Superior Court by Governor Gavin Newsom in December 2023. She is currently assigned to the family law division at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Before her appointment, she was a Certified Family Law Specialist and a partner at the law firm Elkins Kalt Weintraub Reuben & Gartside LLP, where she headed the family law department. Her legal career began after she was an associate at O'Melveny & Myers from 1989 to 1990, followed by a long tenure at Trope and Trope LLP from 1990 to 2016. Kiley earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with honors, from the University of Michigan. She has also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California Gould Law School, teaching Family Law and Community Property courses.
