Anne McEnerny-Ogle is the current and first female Mayor of Vancouver, Washington, having assumed office on January 1, 2018. Her current term runs through 2025. Prior to being mayor, she was elected to the Vancouver City Council in 2013. Before entering politics, she had a 30-year career as a public school teacher, primarily in the mathematics department for Lake Oswego Public Schools. She earned a Bachelor of Science in education from Southern Oregon State College and a Master of Education from Lewis & Clark College. McEnerny-Ogle has a long history of community involvement, including serving on the Vancouver Planning Commission and chairing the Shumway Neighborhood Association Board.
