Anthony Hemstad is a candidate for Port of Olympia Commissioner in Olympia, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-partisan.

Anthony Hemstad grew up in Olympia and runs his own economic development and public policy consultancy. His past experience includes serving as President/CEO of the World Trade Center offices in Tacoma and San Francisco, where he helped attract significant investment to the US. He has also worked as a city manager for Maple Valley and lived abroad for 15 years. He volunteers on the Port of Olympia's Citizen Advisory Commission, chairing its Economic Development Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound (1985) and a graduate degree from the University of Chicago (2001).
