Anthony Tilghman

Anthony Tilghman is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in Legislative District 25. Currently a Commissioner for the city of District Heights, he is also an award-winning photographer, children's book author, and educator. As commissioner, Tilghman established a workforce development program and a "Safe Passage" pilot program aimed at ensuring student safety. He serves as the executive director for MakeSmartCool, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth literacy. His prior public service includes working as the Constituent Service Manager for State Delegate Nick Charles and serving on the Citizen Advisory Council for the District 8 Police Department.
