Antonio Driver

Antonio Driver is a Democratic candidate for the Maryland State Senate, Legislative District 26. An educator and public servant, he was appointed the first LGBTQIA+ Liaison for Prince George's County in June 2023, a role in which he advocates for the community's interests within local government. Driver previously founded and was executive director of Speakout, a Washington, D.C.-based organization dedicated to empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals. His professional background includes work in HIV prevention, youth support, and family services in D.C., New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as serving as an educator in Prince George's County Public Schools. He holds an M.B.A., a B.A. in Management, and an A.A. in Criminal Justice.
