Antonio Merrick, who brands himself 'The American Mentor,' is a U.S. Army veteran, workforce-development and recruiting executive, and father of daughters Autumn and Aaliyah, based in Jacksonville, Florida. Raised in Camden County, Georgia, he spent years as a grassroots Republican activist in Virginia and Georgia before publicly breaking with the GOP over what he describes as political retribution and systemic corruption. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, a Master of Administrative Leadership, and a graduate certificate in Government and Commercial Contract Management, and he founded The Merrick Movement. He is writing a book titled 'A Journey from Survival to Political Persecution.'
