April Fleming Miller

April Fleming Miller is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 4 in Frederick County. She assumed office on January 11, 2023. Her public service career includes extensive experience in education governance. From 2010 to 2018, Miller served as an at-large member of the Frederick County Board of Education. In 2020, she was appointed to the Frederick Community College Board of Trustees, a role she held prior to her election to the state legislature. Professionally, Miller works as an optometrist in Frederick. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and subsequently received her Doctorate of Optometry from Salus University.
