Ara Papyan was raised and educated in Tukwila, attending schools from elementary through Foster High School. He holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Washington, Tacoma, and a Master's in Business Administration from Seattle University. For over a decade, he has worked in financial and operational strategy in higher education and currently manages multimillion-dollar budgets at Seattle University as the Director of Budget and Operations. He has also served as the lead for the Parent Advisory Committee.
