Arnold Mooney, a seasoned public servant and commercial real estate professional, represents District 43 in the Alabama House of Representatives. A Montgomery native, he earned degrees in political science and history from Samford University. Mooney built a career as a Commercial Realtor, bringing over three decades of experience serving small businesses and developing jobs programs. First elected to the Alabama House in November 2014, he currently serves as House Chairperson for the Shelby County Legislative Delegation. His extensive background in government includes serving U.S. Senator James B. Allen and managing numerous political campaigns. Mooney is married to Kelly and they have three grown children and two grandchildren.
