Dr. Arthur Boyer, EdD, is an educator, community leader, and advocate with deep roots in Florida House District 82. He moved to Southwest Florida from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 1991 and worked as a farm laborer, janitor, and juvenile detention officer before earning a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from Hodges University and an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University. An educator for 18 years, he taught English for Collier County Public Schools (2004-2009) and served as an adjunct professor of ESL at Hodges University; he is now CEO of Boyer Multidisciplinary Consulting, an education, leadership, and life-coaching firm. He ran for the Collier County Public Schools board (District 5) in 2022 and is the father of a 21-year-old son.
