Arthur Orr, a Republican, is an incumbent member of the Alabama State Senate, representing District 3 since 2006. Beyond his legislative duties, he maintains a law practice and serves as Executive Vice President of Finance for Cook’s Pest Control. Orr has chaired the Senate Finance and Taxation Education Budget Committee for 12 years, lauded for his prudent management of the state’s education budget.
