Ashley Boyette was appointed to the Princeton Board of Commissioners in December 2024 to fill a vacant seat. She is a graduate of Princeton High School and earned a degree in Political Science from UNC Wilmington, later earning an MBA from the University of South Carolina with a concentration in International Business. Her professional experience includes over five years working for the city of Charleston, SC, in the Real Estate Management division and currently working for a private real estate developer in Wayne County, overseeing land acquisition and development. Boyette has previously served on the Planning Board and Board of Adjustment for the Town of Princeton and is active in several community organizations, including the Princeton Woman's Improvement Club and the Junior Women's League of Smithfield.
