Ashley Moody is an American politician and attorney serving as the junior United States Senator from Florida since January 2025, after being appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis. She previously served as the 38th Attorney General of Florida from 2019 to 2025. Before her statewide roles, Moody worked in civil litigation, served as a federal prosecutor, and was elected as a Hillsborough County circuit court judge in 2006. She earned her degrees from the University of Florida and Stetson University.
