Dr. Ayanna Davis is an educator and public servant with deep roots in Compton, California. She has worked in public education for over two decades, serving as a teacher and principal in the Watts community. In 2022, she was elected to the Compton Unified School District Board of Trustees, where she currently serves as Vice President and Legislative Representative. Davis holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. She also earned two Master of Arts degrees in Educational Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and California State University, Northridge. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of organized labor, including the United Teachers Los Angeles (UTLA) and currently as a member of Teamsters Local 2010 / Associated Administrators of Los Angeles Union, where she has served on the executive board. She is also an Executive Board Member of the New Frontier Democratic Club.
