Barbara Armes has been a resident of Oak Harbor since 2018, moving to the area after a 30-year career in nursing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services from Western Washington University. Her political experience includes serving as a Precinct Committee Officer and managing the District 10 Legislative Office for two years. She was elected to the City Council for Position 4 and sworn into office in November 2023. She serves on the City of Oak Harbor Investment Committee and the Marina Advisory Commission.
