Her professional career includes roles at the King County Department of Transportation and as Director of Public Relations for the Issaquah School District. She has been active in numerous civic organizations, including co-founding The Garage, A Teen Café. She holds a B.A. from Washington State University and an M.S. from Eastern Connecticut State University.
