Bart Baxter is a General Contractor and has previously served as a Waitsburg City Council member (2009-2010) and has been a member of the Planning Commission since 2008. He is currently a Parks and Recreation Commissioner for District 5, having been elected in 2022. Baxter has been involved in various community projects, including the Preston Park playground and the WP Tigers soccer program, and has served on the advisory board for the BMX track. He moved to Waitsburg five years prior to 2011 to be closer to his parents.
