Ben Anderson

Ben Anderson is the incumbent for Director Position 5, having been appointed to the seat in February 2025. He was born and raised in Bremerton and graduated from Bremerton High School. He attended the US Coast Guard Academy, earning a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Anderson served 10 years on active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard and another 10 years in the reserves, retiring in 2022. He is currently the President and CEO of Art Anderson Associates, a local engineering firm. He and his wife have three children who attend schools in the Bremerton School District.
