Ben Braver is a middle school science teacher in Hillsborough County, Florida, and a union member. He earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of South Florida. Braver previously directed State and Local Policy for the Young Democrats of America and interned for U.S. Representative Kathy Castor. In 2024, he was the Democratic nominee for Florida State Senate District 23. He is currently running as a Democratic candidate for the Florida House of Representatives District 65.
