Ben Laughlin

Ben Laughlin has been a resident of Chelan for 29 years and has family ties to the area for over 50 years. He has worked for 36 years as a Bering Sea Crabber and Captain. His community service includes volunteering for a local Rec Association, co-founding the Riverwalk Closet clothing charity, and co-founding Fresh Winds Restoration, a group that provided work for the homeless. He has also served as a volunteer firefighter, an assistant AAU basketball coach, and a member of the Citizens Advisory Group for fire district 7. In 2023, he was a candidate for Fire Commissioner for Chelan Fire Protection District 7.
