Benjamin C Hymes

Benjamin C. Hymes is an incumbent State Representative for Maine's House District 38, currently serving his second term. A Republican, he also serves on the Legislature’s Joint Standing Committee on Veterans and Legal Affairs, reflecting his background as a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran, where he achieved the rank of Senior Chief specializing in intelligence. Beyond his legislative duties, Hymes is a small business owner and the Executive Director of a non-profit organization. He holds an Associates degree from 2017 and is married to Gabrielle, with whom he has five children. He is seeking re-election in the 2026 Republican primary.
