Bentley Hudgins

Bentley Hudgins, a graduate of Union Grove High School and Mercer University (2017), is a nonprofit director and seasoned advocate for civil and human rights. With a decade of experience, including their role as State Director of the Human Rights Campaign, they have fought against anti-LGBTQIA+ bills, led voter registration efforts, and secured funding for community initiatives. Hudgins is running for Georgia House District 90 on a platform focused on neighborhood investment, expanded transit, and alternative public safety approaches. Having run in 2022, they are seeking to represent a new generation of bold leadership, and if elected, would likely be the first openly non-binary and trans state representative in the Deep South.
