Bill Miano has 22 years of experience in the fire service in Utah, where he worked as a firefighter/EMT and firefighter/paramedic in the Salt Lake City metro area before retiring from the West Valley City Fire Department in 2013. He moved to Sequim, Washington with his family in 2017 and began volunteering for the Clallam County Fire Protection District 3 in 2018. He was elected to the Board of Commissioners for Clallam County Fire Protection District 3 in 2020.
