He serves as a First Lieutenant in the Kansas Air National Guard and works as an remote electrical design and analysis engineer for Boeing. Carpenter is committed to addressing property tax relief. He is married to Tyleigha and they have two children, and also serves on the Kansas State Rifle Association board.
