Blake D. Moore is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for Utah’s 1st congressional district since January 2021. Born and raised in Ogden, Utah, he is a former diplomat who served a missionary assignment in South Korea and holds degrees from the University of Utah and Northwestern University. Before Congress, he worked as a a management consultant and co-chaired the "Better Boundaries" campaign for independent redistricting. A moderate Republican, he is known for his work on lowering costs, immigration, military strength, and supporting transit infrastructure. He is currently the Vice Chair of the House Republican Conference. Due to redistricting, he is running for the U.S. House, Utah’s 2nd Congressional District in the 2026 Republican primary, having qualified by signature after not winning the state delegate convention.
