Blanca Pacheco is the incumbent representing the 64th District in the California State Assembly, an office she assumed on December 5, 2022. A graduate of Downey High School, she earned a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School. Her career includes working as an attorney and real estate broker. Prior to her election to the Assembly, Pacheco served on the Downey City Council, first elected in 2016, and became the city's first Latina Mayor in 2020.
