Bo Hatchett is an incumbent Republican State Senator representing Georgia's 50th District. He grew up in Demorest, Georgia, earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech, and his law degree from the University of Georgia, subsequently working as an attorney. He is married to Ashley and they have two daughters, Hallie and Hazel. A Governor’s Administration Floor Leader, he is known for his conservative principles, supporting pro-life policies and the Second Amendment. He sponsored legislation to protect Georgia’s workforce amidst federal changes and leads efforts to preserve the state's farmlands. He was sworn into the Georgia Senate on January 11, 2021.
