A native of Cherokee County, he is a seasoned cattleman and businessman, a Tahlequah High School graduate, and a former Oklahoma Sooners offensive lineman. His late father also served in the state Legislature. Culver champions traditional education, opposes Common Core, and advocates for local control of schools and parental choice. He is a staunch defender of gun rights and emphasizes patient and family autonomy in healthcare decisions, especially for the elderly.
