Robert H. Harvey, Jr. is the Republican State's Attorney for Calvert County, Maryland, a position he has held since March 27, 2020. With over 40 years of legal experience, his career includes serving as Deputy State's Attorney in Prince George's County, where he supervised over 50 lawyers and prosecuted numerous serious felony cases. He also maintained a private law practice in Prince Frederick, specializing in criminal defense. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, Harvey has been a resident of Calvert County for over 36 years. He ran for re-election in 2022 and won the general election.
