Bob Iyall was elected as Port of Olympia Commissioner for District 2 in November 2021 and has served as the commission's president. He is a Nisqually Tribal Elder and the former chief executive officer of Medicine Creek Enterprise Corporation (MCEC), where he managed the enterprises owned by the Nisqually Indian Tribe. A lifelong resident of Thurston County, he is a retired 45-year member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Union. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western Governor's University and an MBA from Washington State University.
