Bob Sullentrop was born in St. Louis and moved to Minneapolis during grade school. He served in the Marine Corps in Vietnam and was honorably discharged. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. degree in civil engineering and worked for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and several engineering firms before retiring at the end of 2023. Sullentrop has been an election judge in Minneapolis and Richfield since 2008.
