Bobbi Bentz is a candidate for Mayor of the City of Ankeny General Election in 2025 in Ankeny, Iowa. Running as Nonpartisan.

Bobbi Bentz was appointed Mayor of Ankeny in December 2024, becoming the city's first female mayor. She had previously served on the Ankeny City Council for 12 years, including two years as Mayor Pro-Tem. A lifelong resident, Bentz graduated from Ankeny High School in 1997. She earned an undergraduate degree in Economics and Business from Cornell College, followed by two Master's degrees in Health Administration and Public Health, and a PhD in Community and Behavioral Health from the University of Iowa. In her professional career, she works in Health Outcomes and Medical Engagement for a national pharmaceutical company. Bentz has been actively involved in the community, representing Ankeny on various regional committees and boards, including the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitor's Bureau and the Metro Advisory Council. She is also the founder of 100 Women Who Care Ankeny. She and her husband, Adam, have three children.
